Who are we? Garage-Guru
is a local business headed up by Shirley Pearson, a self-described compulsive organizer. The Pearson's
garage, home to 2 cars year round (as well as many bikes, overflowing golf bags, lawn tools, and out-of-season clothing),
has been the envy of the neighborhood for well over a decade. * What
do we do? The three R's of Reduce,
Reuse, and Recycle figure
prominently in the Garage-Guru's business. The most likely reason you are having problems with your storage space
is that you, like the rest of us, have TOO MUCH STUFF!
* The Garage-Guru can help you filter through your belongings and itemize
them for their proper destination: another place in your house, an organization that truly needs them, the
recycle bin, and (as a last resort), the dump. * You can find a list of organizations happy to accept your in-kind donations on our Self-Help Links page - please check it out! And don't hesitate to email us if your non-profit organization accepts in-kind donations
as well.

With the three R's in mind, Garage-Guru
attempts to organize your storage space as economically and practically as possible. Since harboring
too much stuff is usually the problem, we try very hard not to buy yet more stuff in our organization efforts.
This is where the Garage-Guru's practical eye comes in handy. The bookshelf
that wasn't quite right in your living room (or your neighbor's) and was destined for the trash is perfectly at home in your
garage, tucked unobtrusively against a wall, holding several pairs of soccer cleats. Good for the environment,
and good for your wallet, too!
************************************************ Garage-Guru
is an active member of the Medway Business Community. Do you have a worthy cause for which you
need to raise money? Garage-Guru
is happy to donate specific organizing services for auction at your local fund raiser. Look for our
stepping stone - among the many stones sponsored by other generous Friends of Choate Park
donors - on the brick pathway at Medway's Choate Park. We also partially sponsored the Medway High School Math Team
during their successful 2006-2007 academic season and donated college organizational suppplies to the Medway
High School After Prom Party.
