Storage Room - Walpole

BEFORE GARAGE-GURU MAKE-OVER

This Walpole client has a large basement room that she uses to store extra belongings from her 2-bedroom apartment upstairs. With her lease coming up, and belongings from her three grown children jamming the room, she was desperate to find out exactly what she had down in the cellar and remove it, if possible. All in a day's work for the Garage-Guru.

What a mess! Boxes. Bags.

Things to give away. Things to throw away. Things the client didn't even know she had!

To even get into the room, we had to first clear a path by removing quantities of items to the common basement hallway. Once that step was taken, there was no looking back!

AFTER GARAGE-GURU MAKE-OVER

With zero cost for supplies, the client now has the luxury

of knowing exactly what she has in her basement room.

Christmas decorations, easily accessible;

Camping and biking equipment, ready to hit the road;

Toys (neat, tidy, and ready to bring upstairs - temporarily - when the grandchildren visit);

Personal items clearly visible, waiting to be displayed upstairs - or to be given away;

Specific areas for each of her grown children, to whom she has issued the order:

"Come and get your stuff within the week, or it's out of here!"

Now is the time to be firm!

Both the client and the Garage-Guru expert agreed that the proximity

of the apartment building's dumpster was a true blessing!
